Book Club: No Compromise

  • Peachtree Branch of the Fulton County Library 1315 Peachtree Street Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30309 United States (map)

About the Event:

Join us at the Peachtree Branch Library at 12 p.m. on the first Friday of each month for
a lively discussion of books that explore how design shapes our world. Hosted by MODA and the library, conversations are led by MODA staff or guest experts. If you like, bring your lunch (no red beverages, please) and dive into fresh perspectives on design!

This January, we delve into No Compromise: The Work of Florence Knoll. As a trailblazer
of modern design, Knoll (1917–2019) redefined the landscape of interior design during her tenure
at Knoll Associates, contributing to iconic masterpieces like the Barcelona Chair and the Platner Collection. Author Ana Araujo, an accomplished architect and passionate advocate for amplifying women's presence in design, presents an intimate look at Knoll’s extraordinary career.

This book can be borrowed through Fulton County library system (Available soon) or purchased
in MODA’s Design Shop.

No registration is necessary. Just read the book and join us for a discussion!
