For 37 years, we’ve wanted more design, Atlanta—and that is exactly what MODA has delivered.
We’ve created exhibitions and programs that explore everything from type and chocolate to cities and salt, giving our community a new way to see the designed world all around us. At MODA, ordinary objects become extraordinary stories, and design becomes a way to understand how we live, work, connect, and imagine what comes next.
Throughout the school year and summer, we’ve brought design thinking to kids ages 6–16 through engaging field trips, hands-on programs, and our innovative Design Camp. We’ve given thousands of young people the opportunity to be curious, creative, and confident problem-solvers.
And this past summer, we decided grown-ups deserved some design fun, too. Our first-ever Design Camp for Grown-Ups gave adults the chance to play, make, experiment, and rediscover the joy of being a kid in a friendly, supportive environment.
That’s what MODA does. We make design accessible, engaging, and relevant to everyone.

Programs
Free Fridays open MODA's doors at no cost, funded entirely by sponsors and donors who believe access matters.
Every workshop, talk, and hands-on activity we offer takes staff time, materials, and planning. Your gift helps us bring adults and youth together to think like designers!
From Wine & Design nights to civic events like Jane's Walk Atlanta, MODA programs turn design into something you experience, not just something you look at.
Education
Thousands of students walk through MODA's doors each year on free Title I field trips, learning that design is a way of thinking anyone can use.
Every field trip, camp session, and scholarship we offer opens a door for a student who might not otherwise get to design. Your gift helps us keep that door open!
