Sunday Funday: Futuristic Fun!

  • Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) 1315 Peachtree Street Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30309 United States (map)

In-person at MODA | All Ages

Sundays are fun days, so MODA’s throwing a party on the plaza every second Sunday of the month!

Join us on April 14th from 1:00-5:00 PM for some futuristic fun!

We’re teaming up with Georgia Tech’s Expressive Machinery Lab to bring you two interactive AI experiences. Learn some dance moves with LuminAI, or test your keen sense by playing Fool Your Friend, a game that will challenge your ability to determine what is real or artificial, through AI generated imagery.

About LuminAI: Where Dance Meets AI Innovation
LuminAI is an interactive art installation that allows participants to collaborate with an AI dance partner by improvising movements together. LuminAI isn't just about watching; it's about participating and creating in real-time. Collaborate with an AI dance partner that learns from your movements, remixing them into new, unexpected forms of motion. This installation blurs the lines between the artist and the audience, inviting you to improvise and engage with technology in a dance of creativity. LuminAI offers a glimpse into the future of art and expression—where will your movements take you?

About Fool Your Friend: How AI Can Lead to Misinformation
"Fool Your Friend" is a Battleship-style game in which you either play as the "Fooler," who generates misleading images, or the "Guesser," who tries to identify which images are AI-generated. By employing generative image AI, you'll create images that appear authentic and blend them with genuine images to deceive the Fooler. It's a game designed to illustrate how AI can produce deceptive misinformation.

We will have other activities on the plaza, as well!
