About This STEAM Storytime

Join the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) and the Fulton County Library for a playful introduction to STEAM—science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. MODA’s friendly educators will share picture books that show how everything around us is designed, from buildings and bridges to clothes, tools, and toys.

Each session connects big STEAM ideas to the everyday world, helping children see how curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving shape the way we live.

On May 21, dive into stories about treehouses, discovering how these fun structures are planned, built, and enjoyed.

What youth will gain:

  • An Exciting Introduction to STEAM: Through stories and playful exploration, kids will discover how science, technology, engineering, arts, and math shape the world around us.

  • Curiosity about structures and nature
Young learners begin to notice how buildings can work in harmony with the natural world.

  • Spark Creativity & Imagination: Children are encouraged to dream big, imagine new possibilities, and explore their own ideas through storytelling and discussion.

  • Playful, Hands-On Learning: Our educators make STEAM concepts fun and engaging, helping children connect what they learn to their everyday world.
