MODA Members Meetup: Hand, Material, Mind at Hambidge Hive

Step inside the Hambidge Hive—a 30,000-square-foot creative satellite perched on the 15th floor of Uptown Atlanta—and experience contemporary art and craft like never before. This spring, Hambidge brings its spirit of deep, generative creativity into the city, and as a MODA member, you're invited for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the immersive installations at the heart of the 2026 Hambidge Hive Auction.

From March through April, the Hive pulses with site-specific installations, ceramic cups, and hundreds of original works — all united by the theme Hand, Material, Mind and set against sweeping panoramic views of Atlanta.

At the core of this year's auction are collaborations with twelve installation artists: Michi Meko, Noushin Mousavi, Emma Ramirez, Jason Friedes, Charlita, Benjamin Roosevelt, Sayma Hossain, Jasmine Best, Pam Korman, George Long, Laura Bell, and Matt Haffner.Chosen for the ways their practices bridge art and craft and invite audiences into the living traditions of making, their work reflects the essence of Hambidge—a reverence for environment, community, and the enduring power of creative process.

About the Hambidge Hive

The Hambidge Hive is a temporary creative destination established by The Hambidge Center — a pop-up hub for the annual Hambidge Auction, activating Atlanta's urban core with the same bold, boundary-pushing energy that defines Hambidge's legendary mountain residency.

About The Hambidge Center

Founded in 1934, The Hambidge Center nurtures creativity across disciplines through its residency program, workshops, environmental initiatives, and community programming — all rooted in a pristine 600-acre sanctuary in the North Georgia Mountains. In Atlanta, the Hambidge Cross-Pollination Art Lab extends that mission, bringing dynamic arts programming and studio space into the city.
