Jane’s Walk: Hiding in Plain Sight: The Design Decisions Behind the Buildings Around Us

This Jane’s Walk, taking place in Midtown Atlanta, focuses on themes of Art & Architecture and Engineering.

What are the buildings around you actually doing?

Join Arjun Bir, licensed professional engineer and building scientist, for a walk through Midtown that changes the way you see the built environment.

Starting at MODA, the tour zeroes in on the design decisions that most of us walk past every day: how materials are chosen, how water, air, and heat move through a building envelope, and how those choices play out differently across architectural styles and periods.

Expect hands-on exercises and real-world examples along the way.

About the Walk Leader

Arjun Bir is a Georgia Tech alumnus and licensed professional engineer in five states, specializing in the design, investigation, and rehabilitation of building enclosures.
