Step into the powerful world of Hip Hop at Wine & Design: The Hoodie In Hip Hop, featuring co-curator Regina N. Bradley, Ph.D. This event showcases the hoodie as a vital cultural icon—representing identity, style, and social activism within the Hip Hop community.

For this special edition of Wine & Design. Discover the hoodie’s impact in Hip Hop while enjoying a glass of wine and exploring the exhibition The HOODIE: Identity, Power, Protest.

What to Expect:

  • 5 PM: Arrive early to sip, shop, and mingle in our Design Shop.

  • 5:30 PM: Take a 30-minute guided tour from a MODA staff member.

  • 6 PM: Explore the rich history of Hip Hop with Dr. Bradley, gaining insights into the significance of the hoodie in identity and social movements.

  • Learn more about how the exhibition came to be, and the inner workings of this
    ubiquitous garment.

  • Come prepared to engage in conversation and ask questions about the intersections
    of fashion, music, and activism!
