MODA is opening its doors wider as part of our commitment to keeping design accessible when it matters most.
Join us for a Free Friday on July 10 sponsored by our friends at WM Events. During your visit, explore SALT: A Design Story, our newest exhibition, and learn:
How salt shaped the location of roads, cities, and trade routes
How cultures across the world built ritual and meaning around a single mineral
about the craft revival bringing regional flavor and traditional harvesting methods back to a once-standardized product
How salt continues to shape design today, from architecture and packaging to the food on your plate
Good design is for everyone. Come see for yourself.
Free Fridays are supported by MODA’s friends & neighbors, who believe, as we do, in design's power to build a better world. Want to sponsor a Free Friday? Reach out to susan@museumofdesign.org.
Please Note:
Groups of more than 10 cannot be accommodated on Free Fridays. This includes school, camp, daycare, and community organization group visits.

MODA reserves the right to cancel a program if the minimum enrollment requirements are not met, but don't worry: should MODA have to cancel, we will gladly issue a full refund to all registrants. If you need to cancel your plans for any reason, we kindly request that you notify us at least 7 days prior to the event start. By doing so, we can process a refund for the ticket cost (minus a small $10 processing fee per class). Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for cancellations made less than 7 days before an event.

Designers with different styles of learning or special needs are welcome in MODA public programs. We will be able to most effectively help everyone learn and enjoy this experience if we know about those needs in advance of the program.
