Join us at the Peachtree Branch Library at 12 p.m. on July 17 for a lively discussion of books that explore how design shapes our world. Hosted by MODA and the library, conversations are led by MODA staff or guest experts. If you like, bring your lunch (no red beverages, please) and dive into fresh perspectives on design!

Join us for a discussion of Inventor of the Future: The Visionary Life of Buckminster Fuller by Alec Nevala-Lee, a revealing biography of the visionary designer. Best known for the geodesic dome, Fuller reimagined how design could shape a better world. From his concept of “Spaceship Earth” to his lasting influence on sustainability and Silicon Valley, this engaging portrait explores the ideas and innovations that made Fuller one of the most fascinating thinkers of the twentieth century.

This book can be borrowed through Fulton County library system or purchased in MODA’s Design Shop.
