Digital Art Studio: Bewitched Worlds

Virtual
Ages 12–18

Join MODA for a virtual studio and illustrate a surreal spooky scene filled with curious objects and mysterious details.

In this virtual studio, young designers will explore how digital artists create imaginative worlds through lighting, color, texture, and composition. Students will design a scene featuring enchanted shadows, unusual collections, strange creatures, floating objects, or mysterious spaces that feel imaginative. Using Medibang Paint Pro, they will build an illustration that invites viewers to discover something new every time they look. At the end of the studio, students can share their work and receive feedback in a supportive environment.

In this Afterschool Studio, we’ll:

  • Study how lighting and composition create mysterious and imaginative environments

  • Explore surreal objects, unusual creatures, and playful spooky storytelling

  • Use MediBang Paint Pro to illustrate an original fantasy scene

  • Practice digital painting techniques that add texture, atmosphere, and depth

  • Provide a space to share and provide constructive feedback

  • Practice collaboration, inclusivity, creative courage, imaginative problem-solving, storytelling, and critical thinking
