Design Book Club: A Field Guide to Getting Lost

  • Peachtree Branch of the Fulton County Library 1315 Peachtree Street Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30309 United States (map)

About the Event:

Join us at the Peachtree Branch Library at 12 p.m. on the first Friday of each month for
a lively discussion of books that explore how design shapes our world. Hosted by MODA and the library, conversations are led by MODA staff or guest experts. If you like, bring your lunch (no red beverages, please) and dive into fresh perspectives on design!

This February, we invite you to explore Rebecca Solnit’s A Field Guide To Getting Lost. In this captivating collection of essays, Solnit reflects on themes of uncertainty, memory, and the spaces we inhabit, from urban landscapes to untamed nature. Her unique perspective encourages us to think critically about how design influences our journeys.

This book can be borrowed through Fulton County library system (Available soon) or purchased
in MODA’s Design Shop.

No registration is necessary. Just read the book and join us for a discussion!
