Design Camps for I4–I6 Year Olds

2026 Camps for 14-16 Year Olds

Step into the role of a young design professional with MODA’s Design Camps! Designed for teens ages 14 to 16, these camps introduce students to the many ways design shapes design Atlanta’s neighborhoods, spaces, and systems—and the career paths that allow them to be part of that work. Each week focuses on a different design field, giving students the chance to tackle real urban challenges and explore how designers use creativity, research, and strategy to make cities more equitable, vibrant, and resilient.

Using tools like sketching, model-making, and prototyping, campers work through projects that mirror how designers work in fields such as architecture, public art, graphic design, urban design, and product design. Along the way, they build career ready skills in visual communication, collaboration, and problem solving while creating portfolio pieces that show how thoughtful design can help redesign Atlanta for the future.
