IMAGINING SCHOOLS OF THE FUTURE

Grades 4th - 12th | Up to 50 Students

During this virtual workshop, a MODA instructor will lead students through a design process that helps them imagine schools of the future. Together, students will create school spaces that are dynamic, fun, and welcoming to all.

We’ll start by analyzing what the schools of today are like, and then we’ll imagine how things could be different and collaboratively design new school spaces using LEGOs, K’Nex, and/or a free, online computer-aided design (CAD) program called Tinkercad.

Along the way, we’ll practice thinking like designers by focusing on empathy, ideation, prototyping, and testing.
