About the Event:
MODA Members are invited to the Xocolatl Small Batch Chocolate factory and tasting room for a factory tour and tasting, hosted by one of Xocolatl’s knowledgeable tasting guides!
Here’s what you can look forward to:
Get to know the amazing plant that gives us chocolate: Theobroma cacao.
Enjoy a guided tasting of our single-origin dark chocolate collection to experience unique regional expressions of cacao around the world.
Learn how small farmers grow, process and trade the cacao that becomes our chocolate.
Experience all things cacao with your senses, from the sweet-tart fruit all the way to chocolate confections.
See each stage of the chocolate making process, from bean to bar!

This is a casual event with minimal walking.

Parking is available in the log outside the Xocolatl factory and tasting room.

MODA reserves the right to cancel a program if the minimum enrollment requirements are not met, but don't worry: should MODA have to cancel, we will gladly issue a full refund to all registrants. If you need to cancel your plans for any reason, we kindly request that you notify us at least 7 days prior to the event start. By doing so, we can process a refund for the ticket cost (minus a small $10 processing fee per class). Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for cancellations made less than 7 days before an event.

Pictures and videos will be captured during MODA public programs and may be published on the official website, social media, and newsletters of the Museum of Design Atlanta. If you do not wish to appear on these platforms, please write to felicia@museumofdesign.org.

To begin using your MODA Member event discounts through your new SimpleTix account, please update your login information. To update your login information with SimpleTix, be sure to use the email address associated with your membership then set up your own password.
Follow these instructions to update your SimpleTix account:
Select your desired event
Click ‘Register Now’
In the Bottom Right Corner
Click ‘Login Now’ next to ‘Have a SimpleTix account?’ (We’ve created your account, you simply need to complete it)
Enter your email address associated with your MODA membership
Click 'Forgot My Password'
Follow the new email prompts to set up your new password
Login with your password
Select the event you wish to Register
Select quantity of tickets
Add to cart
Your discount should be applied
Proceed to Checkout
Enter your payment details
Receive your e-tickets to events
