All Ages
In-person at MODA
Join us on Sunday, June 8th from 1-5 PM to craft, connect, and celebrate National Best Friends Day!
Every second Sunday is a Sunday Funday at MODA — a vibrant, creative block party right on the plaza! This month, we’re turning up the joy in honor of National Best Friends Day.
Whether you’re bringing your bestie or coming solo to make new connections, you’re invited to an afternoon of hands-on making, playful challenges, and joyful community vibes.
🎨 Craft Your Connection
Make your own friendship bracelets (for your bestie, your pet, yourself—no judgment!).
Try our Draw Together challenge: pair up and sketch each other without looking at your paper. Trust us, it’s hilarious.
Collaborate with Atlanta artist Amanda Banks to create a mini zine all about your BFF.
🎉 Play on the Plaza
Sway and spin in MODA’s spun chairs with live beats from The Human DJ
Hoop it up with hula hoops, build big with Imagination Playground, and blow giant bubbles into the sky
All events on the plaza are free. Enjoy a discounted admission of $5 to MODA’s current exhibition, BITTERSWEET: The Design of Chocolate from 1:00-5:00 PM!
This program is supported by Midtown Alliance and WM Events.
