Members Meetup: Methane Studios

In Person at Methane Studios

Join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes visit to Methane Studios, one of Atlanta’s most celebrated illustration and screen-printing studios. Founded in 1998 by Mark McDevitt and Robert Lee, Methane has become internationally known for its bold, hand-crafted posters that blend vintage Americana with a sharp contemporary edge.

During this special member meet-up, we’ll step inside their studio to learn about their creative process, explore how a screen print comes to life, and hear how two artists working out of a garage built a practice that now serves major brands and legendary musicians.

Space is limited.

About Methane Studios:

Methane Studios is an Atlanta-based illustration and design studio co-founded in 1998 by Mark McDevitt and Robert Lee. Known for their distinctive, hand-printed screen posters, the studio draws inspiration from vintage advertising, classic film graphics, and rock-and-roll iconography, creating work that feels both nostalgic and unmistakably contemporary.

What began in a garage making posters for local music venues has grown into a nationally recognized studio producing work for clients such as Honda, Turner Broadcasting, Dave Matthews Band, and Phish. Their narrative-driven compositions, bold color palettes, and richly layered textures have earned recognition from publications including Print and Graphis, and their posters are widely collected by fans of music and design.   Committed to a hands-on process, Methane Studios continues to craft each print with care, precision, and an enduring love for the art of screen printing—making them a cornerstone of Atlanta’s creative community.
