About the Event:

Love October for its mystery, mood, and creative energy? Join us for MAKE @ MODA: Haunted Houses, a hands-on design workshop where you’ll build a three-dimensional model of a haunted house using chipboard, paper, glue, and other versatile materials.

In this session, we’ll explore form, texture, and symbolism to create a spooky atmosphere and tell stories through space. Whether your haunted house is eerie and elegant or playfully surreal, this is your chance to experiment, build, and let your imagination run wild—no ghosts required.

What to Expect:

  • Hands-on model-making

  • Techniques for creating dimensional details

  • Inspiration from iconic haunted architecture, film sets, and folklore

  • Space to design a spooky, whimsical, or dreamlike environment

  • A chance to unwind, make, and get scarily creative

Perfect for adults looking to tap into the spirit of the season, this workshop blends storytelling, design thinking, and hands-on craft. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind miniature space that reflects your unique haunted aesthetic.
