Ages 6 and up:
Join MODA and the Fulton County Library for LEGO Lab: Heroes & Villains. Families are invited to create heroes, villains, vehicles, secret hideouts, and action packed scenes using LEGO bricks.
Kids ages 6 and up can invent original characters, recreate epic showdowns, or work together on a shared world filled with adventure. This session encourages imagination, storytelling, and hands-on design through play. Caregivers must remain with their children throughout the program.
During LEGO Lab, families will:
Design heroes, villains, vehicles, and action scenes with LEGO bricks
Create stories through character and environment design
Explore creative problem solving while building imaginative worlds
Collaborate with others on a large themed LEGO creation
Join us for an afternoon of imaginative building inspired by heroes and villains.

Leslie Yarborough is the Education Coordinator at the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA), where she inspires young learners to explore creativity and problem-solving through design. She holds a Master’s in Library and Information Science and brings several years of experience working in public libraries, where she fostered a love of reading and discovery in children and families. A lifelong reader and crafter, Leslie is passionate about teaching design thinking to the next generation and helping kids see how science, technology, engineering, arts, and math shape the world around them.

This is held at the Peachtree Branch of the Fulton County Library at 1315 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30309.
The library is in the same building as MODA, directly above the museum.

An elevator is available from the front entrance to the library, as well as from the parking lot below the library.
