Join us at the table. Two weeks before Thanksgiving, MODA is setting a table for an evening of tasting, talking, and making something to bring to your holiday gathering—no matter what form it takes.

Suzi Sheffield, founder of Atlanta’s Beautiful Briny Sea, will lead a tasting of salts that amplify the flavors of your holiday meal, showing how the right salt calms bitterness, sharpens sweetness, and brings herbs and spices forward.

Then she’ll invite everyone to mix a blend of their own, built around the dishes their family asks for every year: the dressing, the sweet potatoes, the pie someone always brings.

Bring a friend, swap stories about your favorite holiday dishes, and leave with a jar you made yourself—ready for your own table on Thanksgiving Day.

About Suzi Sheffield & Beautiful Briny Sea

Suzi Sheffield is the founder of Beautiful Briny Sea, an Atlanta-based artisan dry goods company she started in 2011 after years running restaurants and catering events. Self-taught and endlessly curious, she has grown Beautiful Briny Sea from a one-woman operation into a company whose salts and sugars are sold at Williams-Sonoma and used by chefs and ice cream makers across the country. Her blends are known for their wit and their stories, each one built around a flavor she has chased down or a person she has made it for.
