What if your yard could do more than look nice? What if it could restore soil, capture water, support pollinators, and grow food?
About the Event:
In this talk, Brandy Hall—Founder and CEO of Shades of Green Permaculture and author of the new book, The Complete Guide to Permaculture—will introduce the principles of permaculture and regenerative landscape design, showing how thoughtful planning can transform even small yards into resilient, living systems. You’ll learn how to think like a designer when shaping your landscape—working with water, building soil health, and creating plant communities that support biodiversity and strengthen local ecosystems.
Through practical examples and real-world case studies, Brandy will share strategies for designing landscapes that work with nature rather than against it.
What to Expect:
An introduction to the core ideas behind permaculture and regenerative design
Practical strategies for managing water and building healthy soil
