About Christopher Scott:

Christopher Scott is an internationally recognized designer and educator born in Northern Ireland. After earning his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Design from the University of Ulster, Magee, he moved to Ecuador in 2012, where he founded the Ecuador Poster Biennial and organized four successful editions. When he relocated to the United States in 2022, he and co-founder Ryan Slone saw an opportunity to build something new: a platform where designers, artists, and visual communicators could share their work with the country and the world. The United States International Poster Biennial officially launched in May 2022.

Over a career spanning more than two decades, Scott has received over 300 international awards, with recognition from organizations including the WWF, Amnesty International, Adobe, and Graphis. His work has been exhibited worldwide, including at the Louvre in Paris. He is currently a Professor of Graphic Design at Iowa State University and the founder of Designers Speak.
