But what goes into making it? And how can we learn to evaluate different flavors and aromas? To find out, join us in Blandtown, where we'll learn about the art of coffee through an exclusive tasting at Coffee Man!
With the guidance and expertise of Coffee Man's owners Nick and Devin, we’ll try four distinct coffees with very different flavor profiles and discuss the processes of roasting and brewing. Whether you're new to coffee or consider yourself an aficionado, this is the perfect chance to expand your knowledge, meet fellow coffee fans, and taste some delicious, unique brews!

Nick always enjoyed coffee, but his story starts with cooking “family dinner” with his friends in college, which piqued his curiosity and desire to be a creator.
After college, Nick began to question the corporate world and took up making kombucha as a side hobby to keep his creativity alive.
Devin’s love for coffee began in college, when he bought a Chemex and started making pour-over coffee. Pretty soon his roommate started referring to him as “The Coffee Man.”
After college, Devin was hit with an idea: why not make cold brew coffee but add other things to it, like in the process of making beer or kombucha? Soon after, he was adding fruits, flowers, and spices into the brewing process to create funky, fresh flavors of cold brew.
Devin and Nick met each other at through their corporate jobs and started turning Nick’s kombucha recipes into cold brew recipes. From then on, dreams turned into realities and Coffee Man was born!

Coffee Man is committed to making coffee simple. Specialty coffee shouldn’t be mysterious, pretentious, or confusing, and Coffee Man believes everyone should have access to quality — no need to be an expert!
There’s an extensive process for coffee beans to get from farm to friend (that’s you!), but Coffee Man is committed to educating everyone in a fun and whimsical way. They promise to never use fancy words or complicated terms without explaining them!
Coffee Man currently sources their coffee beans from 5 different countries around the world, and all are direct trade — this means Coffee Man has a direct relationship with the farm!
Coffee Man’s other coffees are imported through Ally Coffee based on their commitment to transparency and paying farmers livable wages.

MODA reserves the right to cancel a program if the minimum enrollment requirements are not met, but don't worry: should MODA have to cancel, we will gladly issue a full refund to all registrants.
If you need to cancel your plans for any reason, we kindly request that you notify us at least 7 days prior to the event start. By doing so, we can process a refund for the ticket cost (minus a small processing fee).
Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for cancellations made less than 7 days before an event.
