About This Event

Designers take on many roles in our society. They inspire the world to make interesting and meaningful decisions in the spaces we inhabit.

Join us for an evening of ideas and discussion and learn more about Thomas Heatherwick’s book, Humanize: A Maker's Guide to Designing Our Cities with Atlanta City Studio Book Club and Congress for the New Urbanism Atlanta (CNU).

Pick-up a copy of the book at MODA’s Design Shop before you go!

What to Expect:

  • Explore “a rousing call for action” with neighbors in the historic Hotel Row neighborhood in Atlanta.

  • Learn more ways to solve urban crises with Heatherwick’s simple rules and mantras.

  • Connect with fellow urban design enthusiasts within a cool space, and guided conversations with purpose!

Be part of the conversation beginning with the May 1 Jane’s Walk, Cities Are Complex! What can we learn from our experience on the street? - a walk that considers the emotional and social costs buildings can have on us and learn how re-humanizing cities can help us to thrive!

Registration: Free, just let us know you plan to attend by registering.
