On October 14th, 2021, MODA hosted a virtual panel with Aya Ayoubi and Lauren Knill to discuss the makings of the Delta Jacket and EMPWR Coat, garments designed to help those experiencing houselessness. Both works are currently part of MODA's featured exhibition, Survival Architecture & the Art of Resilience. In this exchange, both leaders shared their journey to developing products that affect change and advocate for the houseless. Aya and Lauren spoke to their design methodology and product development process, followed by an audience-driven Q&A session.
