Discover Atlanta’s Hidden Gems: A Guided Tour of the Atlanta BeltLine's Up-and-Coming Neighborhoods

  • Brewdog 112 Krog Street Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30307 United States (map)

In-person

This Jane’s Walk, taking place on the BeltLine, focuses on themes of art, architecture, food, entertainment, history, and culture.

The Atlanta BeltLine is completely reinventing Atlanta, and on this tour you’ll learn how!

Join Nicole Gustin, Founder & CEO of BiteLines Atlanta Food Tours, on an exciting BeltLine tour through up-and-coming areas in the Old Fourth Ward, Cabbagetown and Reynoldstown neighborhoods, where you’ll learn about the BeltLine project and see the transformation happening right before your eyes.

On this tour, you will:

  • Explore and interact with Art on the Atlanta BeltLine, the largest outdoor art exhibit in the Southeast. You'll uncover the secrets behind the art and learn about the talented artists who created them, including ties to Hollywood.

  • Search for the elusive Tiny Doors (there are 3 of them on our route), and get your cameras ready as we come across countless vibrant murals that make up the Forward Warrior project.

  • Explore Reynoldstown, founded by freed slaves, and Cabbagetown, a milltown with a rich past.

  • Learn about the BeltLine project and its future plans

You’ll witness the explosion of development happening in the area. We'll even give you some recommendations for restaurants to come back to later.

After the tour, everyone is invited to grab a drink and hang out at Brewdog, a brewpub on the BeltLine.

  • Jane’s Walk is an annual global festival honoring the legacy of urbanist, activist, and writer Jane Jacobs with free, citizen-led walking tours through the neighborhoods that lend so much character to our cities.

The festival promotes civic engagement and encourages leaders and participants to share stories about their communities and use walking as a means of connecting with their neighbors.

  • Nicole Gustin grew up in metro Atlanta, then lived in the Boston area for many years. When she returned to Atlanta, the BeltLine was just being built, and she saw the energy it was creating in this city she loves.

She launched BiteLines Atlanta Food Tours to give tourists and locals an authentic experience of the BeltLine, its restaurants and street art. She has since given BeltLine tours to hundreds of people. In 2023, BiteLines began offering “Barks and Bites,” a one-of-a-kind restaurant crawl for dogs.
