In-person at The Lovett School
Step into the dynamic realm of robotics and urban development. Through hands-on activities, campers will master the art of designing and programming robots with the power to transform our cities into sustainable havens.
Our curriculum encompasses the fundamentals of coding, the art of robot assembly, and the core principles of sustainable living. Campers will collaborate in teams to tackle genuine urban challenges, harnessing the potential of their robotic creations as they explore the boundless possibilities of technology in forging a greener tomorrow.
This camp not only cultivates technical prowess but also nurtures a profound sense of environmental stewardship and the spirit of teamwork in our young participants.
Through a blend of fun activities and practical learning, campers will gain hands-on experience with real-world tools like map reading, drawing building plans, sketching, robotics, and model building.
Campers will learn to:
Explore the profound influence of art and culture on city design and community identity.
Gain hands-on experience with various tools and materials to create public artwork.
Engage with guest speakers from the fields of art and culture, gaining insights from experts in the creative world.
What to Bring:
Campers should bring a water bottle, snacks, and lunch. Lunch will also be available for purchase at the Lovett cafe.
Campers are welcome to bring their laptops or tablets during the camp. If needed, MODA can provide campers with a laptop.
Tuition: $450 | $375 for MODA Members at the Family & Friends Level or above ($10/month or $140/year). Members, please contact education@museumofdesign.org to receive a discount code before you register.

This class is a creative learning environment. All registrants agree:
to be respectful of others in all circumstances
to engage in collaborative practices with classmates and instructors
to only use appropriate language in verbal and written conversation
not to troll other participants and/or their design
MODA reserves the right to remove any participant immediately if they engage in any conduct that detracts from the experiences of other participants and is not in line with the purpose of the class.

Camp registrations that are canceled 2 weeks prior to the start of the session will result in a refund of the amount paid minus a $100 non-refundable registration fee.
No refunds will be available for cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the session.
MODA reserves the right to cancel any camp or program that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements.
