Join us for a thrilling week of envisioning the cities of the future!
This camp delves into the world of smart cities, exploring how technology can enhance urban living and productivity.
Explore what cities are doing now to move toward a smarter future, and engineer creative solutions to real-world problems impacting the efficiency of our cities.
Through a blend of fun activities and practical learning, campers will gain hands-on experience with real-world tools like map reading, drawing building plans, sketching, robotics, and model building.
Campers will learn to:
Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology, including IoT devices and sensors for urban applications.
Apply design thinking and innovation to craft solutions that shape the cities of tomorrow.
Collaborate with fellow campers to identify real urban challenges that can be addressed through smart city technologies.
Engage with guest experts from the fields of technology and urban planning.
What to Bring:
Campers should bring a water bottle, snacks, and lunch.
Campers are welcome to bring their laptops or tablets during the camp. If needed, MODA can provide campers with a laptop.
Tuition: $400 | $325 for MODA Members at the Family & Friends Level or above ($10/month or $140/year). Members, please contact education@museumofdesign.org to receive a discount code before you register.

This camp takes place at Georgia Tech's Hinman Research Building, located at 723 Cherry St NW, Atlanta, GA 30332.

This class is a creative learning environment. All registrants agree:
to be respectful of others in all circumstances
to engage in collaborative practices with classmates and instructors
to only use appropriate language in verbal and written conversation
not to troll other participants and/or their design
MODA reserves the right to remove any participant immediately if they engage in any conduct that detracts from the experiences of other participants and is not in line with the purpose of the class.

Camp registrations that are canceled 2 weeks prior to the start of the session will result in a refund of the amount paid minus a $100 non-refundable registration fee.
No refunds will be available for cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the session.
MODA reserves the right to cancel any camp or program that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements.
