In-person at Georgia Tech’s Hinman Research Building
Dive into the world of sustainable urban planning and green design!
During this week-long camp, we will learn about sustainable materials, energy-efficient buildings, and urban greenery. We’ll also use 3D modeling software to design an innovative green space that promotes environmental sustainability and community engagement.
Campers will learn to:
Learn about the significance of green spaces in urban environments and their role in sustainability.
Collaborate with fellow campers to identify and address ecological and sustainability challenges in urban areas.
Apply design thinking to create innovative green space solutions.
Get hands-on experience with technology like Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for urban planning.
Engage with guest experts from environmental and urban planning fields.
What to Bring:
Campers should bring a water bottle, snacks, and lunch.
Campers are welcome to bring their laptops or tablets during the camp. If needed, MODA can provide campers with a laptop.
Tuition: $400 | $325 for MODA Members at the Family & Friends Level or above ($10/month or $140/year). Members, please contact education@museumofdesign.org to receive a discount code before you register.

This class is a creative learning environment. All registrants agree:
to be respectful of others in all circumstances
to engage in collaborative practices with classmates and instructors
to only use appropriate language in verbal and written conversation
not to troll other participants and/or their design
MODA reserves the right to remove any participant immediately if they engage in any conduct that detracts from the experiences of other participants and is not in line with the purpose of the class.

Camp registrations that are canceled 2 weeks prior to the start of the session will result in a refund of the amount paid minus a $100 non-refundable registration fee.
No refunds will be available for cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the session.
MODA reserves the right to cancel any camp or program that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements.
