Make something: Stick It! Design and Make Your Own Stickers (Ages 8-13)

Ever wonder how stickers you see everywhere are made? Join us as we share the process behind making stickers. Then students will get to design and print some of your own. Students will go from drawing to a finished vector graphic using the free and open source software - Inkscape .

Students will:

  • Practice skills of brainstorming

  • Learn about and use the basic principles of graphic design in the context of sticker graphics - alignment, hierarchy, contrast, repetition, proximity, balance, color and space.

  • Cut out your sticker using a vinyl cutter/printer.

Participation and materials fee: $45 non-members, $40 for MODA members.

Fee also includes admission to MODA’s current exhibition.  This workshop is great for ages 8-13.

Space is limited, so reserve your spot now!
