The second Sunday of every month is Design Club Day at the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA). Before Wire & Wood: Designing Iconic Guitars exhibit comes down join us on Sunday, September 8th to make your own chordophone - which is an instrument where the sound is produced by the vibration of string or strings that are stretched between fixed points. Guitars are of course chordophones!
Before you leave MODA, you can check out the exhibition - Wire & Wood: Designing Iconic Guitars. The exhibit explores the basics of guitar design while considering how some guitars have become icons, how they reached this status, and how technology will affect the instrument in the future.
There is no charge for this event but we ask that you register in advance to help us plan for the day!
