The second Sunday of every month is Design Club Day at the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA). Join us Sunday, May 12 for Wear Your Cause.
Simple, bold, and effective – buttons are fun, wearable momentos of history. Often pinned to jackets, hats, and backpacks, buttons remain a popular, visual form of communication. Combining clever text with striking imagery, buttons can be used to express support for humanitarian and conservation efforts around the world.
Meet us at MODA’s Design Bar and Co.Lab this Design Club Day and design your own paper button championing an issue related to social justice, human rights, or environmental efforts. Using cardstock, felt, and markers, try your hand at persuasive writing and create the perfect call to action. Be inspired and design your own unique font that speaks to your cause. When your finished, pin your button on and strike up a conversation.
There's no charge to attend, but we ask that you register in advance to help us plan for the event!
