Join us for a Members-Only field trip to 3D Printing Tech!
Remember the amazing 3D printing exhibition we had at MODA some years ago? 3D Printing Tech played an important role in making that happen and now they’re a trusted Design Partner of the museum.
We want to introduce you to them and give you a chance to learn more about 3D printing on a special members-only field trip on Saturday, March 16, from 1-3pm.
We’ll learn about several of 3D Printing Tech’s projects and the machines that have made them, including a 13 foot Coca-Cola bottle (their largest 3D print yet), their Raise3D Product Line, a 3D Platform Printer, a Glowforge laser cutter, and the latest 3D printing materials to hit the market.
The 3D Printing Tech staff will also to offer tips and tricks to improve your own 3D printing, share finishing techniques they have developed over time, give advice about print settings advice to speed print times and/or improve quality and strength, and tips about how to get into 3D printing, whether it be at home or at your office/ local company.
No 3D printing experience is necessary to enjoy this field trip but space is limited so register now!
3D Printing Tech is located on the corner of 14th and State Street, just north of Georgia Tech’s campus. There is typically parking in their business’s parking lot, but visitors can also park on the street for up to 2 hours.
