Make something: Thanksgiving Fingerboard Camp (Ages 8-14)

During this vacation week camp participants will learn the process of designing and making a fingerboard from start to finish. They will also study skateboard graphics from their beginnings in the 1960’s to current time. They will also broaden their design skills and woodworking skills! 

Things you’ll do: 

  • Sketch a concept

  • Design a graphic

  • Print onto veneer

  • Make a mold

Wood working:

  • Laminate plywood in a mold

  • Cut out a shaped board

  • Sand and finish wood board

Registration includes a complete wooden fingerboard and admission to our current exhibition. This 3-day vacation week camp is great for ages 8-14. 

Space is limited, so reserve your spot now! Campers can register for all three days ($210 non-members, $190 for MODA members) or opt instead to come on just Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday ($75 non-members, $70 members).

Cancellation policy: If you must cancel your plans, please notify us at least 7 days prior to the event start to receive a refund of the ticket cost minus a $10 processing fee per series. Refunds are not available if we are notified less than 7 days prior to the event start. Refunds are not available if you fail to notify us or attend the event.
