Ages 8-12

What’s more satisfying than making something you’re proud of? Whether you have a huge collection of squishies or have never heard of them, join us at MODA to create your own.

At this camp, participants will design their own line of squishies. They’ll use polyurethane foam and learn about the science involved with the production of these popular toys. Campers will also paint and customize their designs. If you have squishies in need of a makeover, please bring them in and see where your creativity will take you.

Campers Will:

  • Learn and strengthen their ability to use the Design Process

  • Strengthen creative confidence

  • Use fine-motor skills

  • Learn through experiential making

  • Engage in Design Thinking

  • Enhance problem solving skills

  • Understand science, technology, engineering, arts, math and design concepts

Enrolled in this camp before? No problem! We'll pick up where you left off so your camper can keep making and learning.

Cost:

Members: $65/ Non-members: $75

Please note camp member discounts apply only to MODA Sustaining Membership levels beginning at $8/month or $96/year and above. For more information about memberships or to join, visit museumofdesign.org/membership/ or contact membership@museumofdesign.org.
