Hands-On for Families: 3D Design & Printing Class

  • MODA 1315 Peachtree Street Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30309 United States (map)

Now you and your favorite tech-savvy youngster can make your very own 3D printed design together at MODA's Family 3D Design & Printing Class!

Whether you’re a wiz-kid on the computer, or haven’t so much as opened a spreadsheet in eons, we'll walk you through the basics of the browser-based 3D modeling program Tinkercad, where you’ll design a dream creation of your own – be it a custom cell phone holder, jewelry, luggage tag, planter, pitcher, watering can, or unicorn. By the end of the class your creation will be ready to go to print, which is exactly what it’ll do. In just one week’s time you’ll be able to pick it up at MODA and bring it into the real world with you. The possibilities are really endless, Atlanta!

$40 for MODA members / $45 Non-Members
Fee also includes admission to our current exhibitions for the participant and one adult.
