The Lemonade Project Session 6: From Daddy's Girl to Grown Woman
Themes: Autonomy, Independence, Female Growth, Evolution
We're putting Queen Bey under the microscope for Women's History Month. Collaborate with facilitators, Blair Banks and Aretina Hamilton, as we analyze Beyoncé's evolution from daddy's girl to grown woman. Using Beyoncé, along with other storied women, we will respond and discuss varying perceptions of womanhood through an image-word association exercise.
MODA encourages the participation of women and girls (aged 14 and up) to collaboratively create a multi-generational narrative of womanhood that tackles race, class, gender identity, sexuality, and other identifiers.
Session 6 will be hosted at MODA on Wednesday, March 29 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. All Lemonade events are free to attend, but registration is required. Please click the link below to sign up for Session 6.
