Designing Playful Cities Exhibition Opening
You're Invited | Saturday, March 3 from 4 - 7 p.m.
Help us celebrate the opening of MODA's next exhibition, Designing Playful Cities! Take in our new exhibition and experience the many ways that play can be designed into cities to make our lives better.
Noodle around a colorful installation by Les Astronauets, enjoy Thomas Heatherwick’s Spun Chairs, and build something cool with Urban Conga’s Kit of Imagination, all while learning and cities across the globe are designing play into everyday experiences. You’ll also be able to snack on locally-produced treats from Cult Carts; sip an adult beverage infused with Tito’s Handmade Vodka — or enjoy our kids-only lemonade stand.
As a reminder, this is a private/invite-only exhibition opening and tickets are non-transferrable. Tickets are limited and will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for children ages 6-14, and $8 for children ages 5 and under. Click the button below to register, and please consider making a donation to support game-changing exhibitions like this one.
We hope to see you there!

About Designing Playful Cities:
As our cities become more and more densely populated, we must design spaces for play into them.
MODA’s upcoming exhibit, Designing Playful Cities, will take visitors through an engaging and often interactive exhibit that will present a strong case for designing play into urban environments, will encourage visitors of all ages to engage in play in their day-to-day activities, and will inspire designers and developers to create playful spaces in our cities, whether by designing proper playgrounds for children or by converting under-utilized spaces into fun and friendly places.
Installations in this exhibition include Delirious Frites by Les Astronauts, Kit of Imagination by Urban Conga, and Spun Chair by Thomas Heatherwick.
Designing Playful Cities will be on view to the public at MODA from February 18 - May 6, 2018.
