Exhibition Tour: Design Like Me - Grades 3 and Up

Highlighting the voices of black and brown designers, clients, and users, Design Like Me is a curated tour experience that will engage students with the work and perspectives of those often underrepresented in the design field. MODA’s current exhibition, Design for Good: Architecture for Everyone looks at people-driven, real-world stories about public spaces that are designed and created with and for the people who use them in mind. From a muslim community in Dhaka to a small district in the Northern Province of Rwanda, students will investigate featured projects in the exhibition found across three continents and practice empathetic problem-solving.

Focusing on the experiences of black and brown architects, clients, and users, this guided tour will address the importance of culturally relevant design, economic inequalities, global health disparities, communal transformation, and much more.
