Introduction to Design Thinking (2 – 2.5 hours)
This high-energy, two-hour workshop provides participants with an experiential introduction to the Design Thinking process. Teams learn by doing as they work through a collaborative, fast-paced, facilitator-led design cycle that provides a terrific overview of the power of Design Thinking.
Participants learn:
- strategies for gaining empathy in a situation
- how to use brainstorming to find solutions to challenges
- how rapid prototyping brings solutions to reality so they can be tested and feedback can be obtained
- to embrace early failures as opportunities for refining ideas and learning

Half-Day Design Thinking Workshop (4 hours)
This high-energy, four-hour workshop is designed to address a specific challenge or problem that your business or team is facing.
Led by a MODA facilitator, your team will use the Design Thinking process to:
- Build empathy around the challenge or situation
- Brainstorm to find solutions to the challenge
- Prototype possible solutions and test their effectiveness
- Use early failures as a means of refining ideas and learning and improving outcomes
By the end of this workshop, your team will have an understanding of the Design Thinking process and be able to continue using it with confidence as they face new and different challenges. They will also have developed a range of possible solutions to the specific challenge addressed in the exercise that can be implemented and tested.
