Join MODA educators for an interactive tour of two current exhibitions at MODA, Cooper Hewitt’s Beautiful Users: Designing for People, and GA Tech’s On You: Wearing Technology. While on tour, students will participate in a variety of mobile design challenges facilitated by a MODA educator based on the items they see on display, to include: Henry Dreyfuss’ and Alvin Tilley’s The Measure of Man posters, the Leveraged Freedom Wheelchair, etc.
Following the tour, students will delve deeper into design and the design process. Using materials from MODA’s design cart, they will rapidly prototype one of their innovative designs to take home.
For young designers in grades 3 and up.
Participation is $7 for children and adults.
