Are you creative but not sure how that translates into a career? Love to think up new ideas and bring them into being? Always talking about how the things you use and own could be better? Maybe you should be a designer!
If you’re interested in a design career, join us this summer for Teen Jam Summer Studio. We’ll be going on a week of field trips to different design studios and schools in Atlanta talk to designers about their education and career path and to learn about their work.
We’ll learn about architecture careers at John Portman & Associates, about graphic and environmental design at ASD|SKY, about participatory and public design and industrial design at Georgia Tech, and about urban design at Midtown Alliance.
In addition to visiting design studios, we’ll also have a series of seminars that focus back at MODA where we’ll focus on the skills you need to take the next steps in design education including photography, portfolio building, illustration, design thinking, and branding.
From graphic design to architecture, you’ll learn how to turn your creative awesomeness into a career.
Teens ages 13-17 are invited to join us for Teen Jam Summer Studio.
