More on Making Change: The Art & Craft of Activism Exhibition:
Opening Sunday, May 27, 2018
Craftivism is a worldwide movement that operates at the intersection of craft and activism. Across the globe, crafters armed with yarn, glue guns, quilt patterns, sewing needles, X-ACTO knives, and other tools of the “domestic arts” are using their hands to protest social and political inequalities and injustices. MODA’s Craftivism exhibition will explore the craftivist movement in Atlanta and beyond and will invite all visitors to get involved by making something that makes a difference.
