The Lemonade Project: August

  • MODA 1315 Peachtree Street Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30309 United States (map)

Topic: The Pepsi-fication of Protests: Do’s and Dont’s

This August, learn how to avoid “pepsi-fying” a local protest, march, or communal event with MODA’s facilitators of “The Lemonade Project”, Blair Banks and Aretina Hamilton.

We’ll discuss self-privilege, take inspiration from conversation, and use our own experiences/expertise to design a message-driven poster of change. Indulge in a bit of creative therapy with your fellow "Lemonaders" as we learn to become better allies, and brainstorm the ways in which protest visuals can extend beyond a moment in time.

Register now! Space is limited. The Lemonade Project is free to attend because designing for social justice, both personal and communal, is for everyone!

Want to fuel this design movement to help inspire positive change in the world? Make a donation of $10 or more in support of museum and its efforts to mobilize change by design. Or become a MODA subscriber and made a monthly donation that helps to sustain programs like this one.
