“In her hands, there’s revolutions!” - Bikini Kill
Drop in to MODA’s Design Bar between 3 - 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 2 and learn how to express yourself through zines with MODA’s Public Programming Designer Jess Lewis!
Zines are self-circulated, self-published books that were created to represent subcultures, discuss issues, and share experiences not expressed in mainstream media. Take inspiration for our current exhibit, Luba Lukova: Designing Justice, and design a zine that advocates for a social justice issue that’s meaningful to you.
We’ll get hands-on, cutting and folding our way to making a one-page zine. No computer needed here - only your passion and imagination. Just pay $5 using the button below or pay at the front desk when you arrive, and head over to the Design Bar!
$5 Participation and Materials Fee.
