On Saturday, March 25, we’ll head to the Georgia Tech College of Design for a guided visit to an exhibition featuring the work of renowned architect, Santiago Calatrava.
The exhibition brings together a unique selection of models, as well as architectural and artistic drawings that display the conception and design of 13 selected projects from around the world and in the USA. The exhibition includes bridges, skyscrapers, cultural centers, a terminal station and a sports complex.
Calatrava’s works are remarkable as they present a multidisciplinary approach, combining architecture, sculpture, art and engineering with great artistic sensitivity and technological innovation. His projects inspire one’s emotional perceptions due to his innovative aesthetic language he encompasses.
Architect and designer Susan Sanders will be our guide for this exhibition. Please arrive at the paid parking lot on the corner of Ferst Street and State Street in the West Campus Visitor Parking lot. This will be our group meeting spot before we head over to the Caddell building together.
The Caddell Building is located on the Georgia Tech Campus at 280 Ferst Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30313.
