The second Sunday of every month is Family Free Day at MODA! Join us Sunday, March 12 for Ugly Produce Revolutionaries.
Think you’ve got what it takes to make ugly produce the next big thing? This Family Free Day, join MODA as we explore how graphic design influences our relationship with food. Inspired by Intermarché’s Inglorious Produce campaign, and our newest pop-up exhibition, Elegantissima: The Design and Typography of Louise Fili, we’ll be making food activist posters with items from MODA’s Design Cart inspired by unconventional food stuffs you’ll find at the museum on your visit. Take your posters with you or feature them at our flash exhibition “Ugly Produce Revolutionaries” located at MODA’s Design Bar.
Additionally, make sure to check out MODA's exhibition, Food by Design: Sustaining the Future, on view until May 7, 2017. Great for families and foodies alike, our newest exhibition explores a simple, and yet complex question–how will we feed ourselves in the future? Our staff will be in the galleries available to answer any questions you have and share the great design stories that are being featured.
We are proud to partner with Chipotle for our current exhibition, and we're excited to announce that their team will be in the MODA lobby this Family Free Day with sustainable surprises for our MODA families!
Participate in Family Free Day at no cost, but please register in advance so we know how many people to expect.
