Homeschool Day

Homeschool Day October!

Join us for a guided tour of Beautiful Users: Designing for People, one of our current exhibitions at MODA. This month, students will analyze the design of objects we use regularly in our lives. Focusing on functionality, comfort, and value, students will use their own personal experiences to understand the true implications and importance of design.

After the tour, take part in a design challenge facilitated by a MODA educator. Using materials from MODA’s design cart, students will collaboratively prototype and iterate handles that can be used in application with objects we interact with on a daily basis. With the help of a MODA educator, students will see their design prototyped in a 3D computer aided design program, Tinkercad!

For young designers in grades 3 and up.

Participation is $7 for children and adults.
