Home School Gets Hands-On

Have you ever wondered how a flashlight works? Take design into your own hands and join MODA as we delve into the exciting world of circuitry. Participate in a hands-on activity led by a MODA educator, and transform ordinary household objects into a functional LED flashlight. As students embrace the idea of redesigning and repurposing to fit a specific need, they will learn to apply basic circuitry skills, while understanding the importance of user-centered design.

For young designers in grades 5 and up

Participation is $10 for children, and any accompanying adult is free.
