Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. It’s intended for anyone making interactive projects.
This camp will accommodate both beginners and those more experienced with Arduino. We'll discuss the basics of engineering design and innovation, foster individual creative confidence, and take on challenges that engage each learner based on their own interests.
In this camp, students will learn:
- basic principles of electrical energy
- basic types of circuits, the components involved, and how to read both bread boarding illustrations as well as schematic diagrams
- build keyboarding skills and encourage micro-controller layout and introduction to the Arduino software
- electronics skills you can use over and over on a variety of projects
